Blue-Lightnings Sliders from 2Ksports Forum

Just decided today to look and see what sliders they have there and found that apparently a mod named Blue-Lightning put up some sliders for download on 2Kshare. Here is how he described them:

Hey all, I realize some of you are looking for some modifications to your game through slider adjustments, so here are some sliders that may give you the type of gameplay you are looking for (more will be added in time): BL Sim Sliders Designed for the hardcore simulation player, these sliders do several things. First, they slow the game down, decrease shooting percentages, increase defense, lower blocking, and generally modify the game so that it plays out like a 12 minute NBA game. These sliders are not recommended for ****** players or those looking for normal stats for a game less than 12 minutes in length. BL Sim Sliders 2 After thorough testing of "BL Sim Sliders," a few changes have been made. The new sliders are designed to increase spacing, make dunking more realistic, improve post play, decrease stamina, increase fouling, and several other minor changes such as removing user "cheese" by spamming hookshots. BL Xtreme Arcade Sliders Turn off the fouls and speed up the game, this is old school NBA arcade at its finest. So I was wondering if anybody had tried these out? If not, maybe some of you can give them a shot, and let us know how your games turned out.

I have used them on hof level. It definitely opens up spacing and fast break offense as well. In short I like them alot. They are up on xbox live and are the best I have tried so far.

OK I tried the BL Sim Slider 2 ones. The things I liked were the fastbreaks and there was hardly any players cutting to the rim for easy baskets. I still saw the problem of the CPU going to the bigs a lot(maybe something to do with their tendencies, even though I scaled them down a lot).

I also saw some missed dunks, one was from Wallace in traffic the other from Almond on a clear fast break.

It seemed like Lebron was chucking up shots in the 4th just to get his shot count up, mostly 3s, even with a player in his face.

I must first say that I am playing the Grizzlies with coaching slider adjustments (TheEnemy ones). I had to turn it on Hall of Fame to make it anywhere close. Right now it is still 61 to 39 at half. Human shooting either needs to be turned down or On-ball defense for CPU needs to be turned up.

This might not be a problem if I was playing someone other than the Grizzlies (who have a bad defense to begin with). They were just leaving my guys wide open...so yea it creates ball space, lol.

I like the feel of the sliders though, and will let you know how they work (I may have to not play Hall of Fame against tougher teams).

I just did. These are outstanding and appear to be official. Like someone already said it really opens up the spacing and is giving great games. I just tried on HOF difficulty. It appears these fix a lot of the issues people are having as far as inside play and cutters. For those of you struggling with this game and thinking it isn't sim, I suggest you try these now. I just played the most realistic game i've ever played bar none and nearly wet myself in the process.

someone is lying, i can't find the bl slider 2 after searching over n over again, i only found bl slider thats all, only one set!
