cant start a season because of cap problems

hey guys,
i am back from madden again.

Starting a new franchise using JSOU's last roster dated file,not adding players or salaries, I cant start the regular season due to a bunch of teams being over the cap.

It says "you must be under the salary cap and have a max of 54 players to enter the regular season. the bears need your attention"

how do you fix this?

1) Quit the franchise and then start a new one but with pre-season turned off for the first season.

2) Use FINN's editor to increase the NFL Salary Cap which in-turn will allow every team to be under the cap limit and thus, you'll be able to play.

you dont have to turn off the preseason or restart

the salary cap doesnt stop you from advancing until after the preseason-- when you get the option to "start regular season-- so that means (assuming he had preseason on to begin with) he is stuck at that screen

all you need to do is open this file in the editor & raise the cap. no reason to restart

True but if you turn off preseason, you go straight to week one and dont have to worry about the cap until the following season.

ya i just wanted anyone reading to know you dont have to do that-- so they know they can play the preseason if they want to (not everyone hates it)

cant seem to raise the Cap in the editor Puja.
this is after I simmed the preseason, entering reg season it stopped me and i backed up to the editor.
so now i see the cap is too high for most teams.
so how do i raise the cap in the editor???

found the cap editor

under tools- manage salary cap

was $81m, now $100m

Rams were at $99.54
Jeez, JSOU didnt you see that?

The cap in my franchise file is correct, to be honest I dont even look at the cap numbers since we play one season only each year.
