Darker is slightly appealing. Halo with a dark, Gears of War feel could really be a killer app for M$. Probably bring in more fans than any other.......

If that was the same tease and what not Bungie had planned for E3, and I'm sure it is, then I see why MS dropped it. That told us nothing, and everyone would say "Halo 3" and probably hurt MS presser. On it's own event, Bungie can explain and let the 'Net go crazy on it for a few days/weeks.
