The comments say it is a Half-Life 2 mod, another says it is a mod based on Gears of War and isn't an actual game and isn't being released.

Could it be? A new video game based on the Ivan Reitman classic, Ghostbusters?

Videos that appeared online today indicate that a Ghostbusters title may be in the works. Credited to European developer Zootfly (Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory), the videos appear to either be test or proposal footage for a Ghostbusters video game. A little investigation done on the Ghostbusters.net message board revealed a PDF that detailed financial information for Zootfly, as well as a promo image for the game.

Whether these are real or fake is unclear, but we've contacted Zootfly for further clarification on the project, and will keep you updated if we hear anything new. In the meantime, hit the jump for some more videos.

I could see that company leaking the videos to generate some internet buzz on the possibility of the game to ensure they get the greenlight for the game.

Real or not, it looks impressive. I'd certainly give it a look see if it was actually a for real game.
