Talking Short tutorial on how to transfer the files w/transfer kit (360)

I created a long file that explains in much more detail how to do this on FK's site but thought maybe some of you may need the basic info here. This assumes certain things like you know how to copy a file on your 360. Good luck!

In the Xchange 360 software click on OPTIONS

See the folder that is there?

That is the folder you need to move the roster file over to.

Once you do that - you will then click on HARD DRIVE tab and you should see on the right some words like FKROSTER2008 or whatever the file is called.

Click on that

Make sure your memory card is inserted.

Click on TO MEM and wait for the file to copy over.

When done take the memory card to your 360 and turn it on. Don't go into NCAA 2008 quite yet.

Copy the file from your 360 memory card over to your 360 hard disk.

Start up NCAA 2008.

Go into rosters area and load them up.

Make any changes you would like to make (if any).

Save the file under NEW option and name it something like your name.

Once you've assured you've got the new file there saved ok then delete FKRosters file.

That's it.

EDIT - see post #47 in this thread for the FULL tutorial please

You cant copy or move a roster file onto your hard drive from the memory card unless you are signed in under the profile name of the person that created the file.

Hopefully the tutorial is a sign that the rosters are coming! The wait is killing me along with everyone else I am sure.

FK I have been using your rosters for years and the group waiting keeps getting larger and larger.

One question: If I have a 64 MB memory card and the Datel Transfer Kit, is that all I need, correct?

I talked to FK at 5pm and he said he had 3 teams to go so it'd be an hour, then he just had to have the issue with the profile lock removed, so he said 2 to 3 hours, meaning they'd be ready about 8pm or so (est)

I had someone email me they had the file and needed help so I assumed that they were talking about 2008. So it's not out yet? Sorry i'm out of the loop, just got in.

Yea i just downloaded Dt rosters until FK gets his done. And you have to download a Profile with the rosters on it. Sign in to the the Profile START the game. The profile and rosters will come up. To get them to your profile you have to Sign out. Sign in to your Profile and Save roster. Then i erased the other profile. So its not the same as last year
