All Star Baseball 2005

I just put this one in to the 360 and I gotta tell ya. It's by far, much better than that 2k6 crap. Is there a way of getting some updated rosters for this?

Re: All Star Baseball 2005

I just thought about this game the other day after seeing it was BC. I had a lot of fun with the expansion team mode. I remember that rosters were tough b/c you could only edit in season. If it's possible, someone on these boards will figure it out.

Re: All Star Baseball 2005

I was just about to come in here and comment on 05 on the 360. I've been playing it a ton again lately since it's the only decent baseball game for the 360.

On top of that, my buddy and I played 2 games online the other night. I can't believe this still works on live, but it did. It worked perfectly as well.

I get this image of some server at the Microsoft Co-Lo in the back corner with dust and cobwebs on it. No one knows it's the asb05 server. "Joe, what is that server?" Joe: "We have no idea, but don't touch it, it could be important"

haha.

Great, great game very underrated and dismissed because of some problems........two almost three years later and some games still don't have as much innovation in certain areas.

Re: All Star Baseball 2005

so is there a program out there that would allow us to pull an nfl 2k5 thing onto this.. i mean, if we could edit players and the such, im sure alotta ppl would enjoy this game.. i wasnt a huge fan of the gameplay, but im sure with up to date rosters, this would be great

I myself asked Finn(Flyin' Finn of the ESPN editors) to try and make an editor for this game. I offered to pay him for it. He said he would look into it, but it seemed to die on the vine...sadly.
An editor that would allow for easy PRE-franchise edits would make this game timeless. To me....from a manage only standpoint...only MLB2006 The Show is a better game. But there are things that ASB2005 has that The Show doesn't and in some respects makes it a better game.
