XBox/Ps2 Ncaa 07 sliders...

Hey guys, it appears that most people here on OS have the 360 version, and honestly, I can't blame them. With that said, where are all the sliders for us current gen guys? This is by far the best playing NCAA out of the box that I have seen, and it doesn't appear that the game needs many tweaks from default. I can't believe I have a passing game now. Running is still solid as it has been in years past and although its still in there, im not experiencing nearly as much "Mario" running as in years past. I think that using the "cover up" button (up on Rt. stick) has helped with this. Another thing that it helps with is the fumble problem which is DEFINITELY a problem. Its not a game killer or anything, but it seems there are way too many fumbles. Im going to get started on some current gen sliders. I play the Xbox version BTW.

So basically, NCAA 07 is a sweet game that just needs some very very minor tweaks to be "perfect". I use that term warily because we all know that a perfect game doesnt exist but this game can be pretty close with the right adjustments. If any of you guys are working on sliders or notice anythings about the game that may need adjusting, feel free to post them here. I think that we need sliders to adjust these issues..

1)JTS- This is a cool feature, but it can be overly effective. Hey, I timed the snap and got a half a second jump on the OL. Does that mean because Im rated 75 going against a 95 OL that I should be able to knock him over two or three times in a game? Maybe Run blocking and Pass Blocking should be increased here.

2)Fumbles- I think that this years fumble "problem" has to do with the new momentum meter combined with all of the big hits that we are seeing. Perhaps a reduction in tackling?

3)Passing- Im loving the fact that I can pass in this years version but it may be too easy. Probably gonna lower QB acc. here

im really anxious to get a good set of sliders so that once I get my rosters from FK i'll be ready to fire up a dynasty. Once I get home from work, i'll try to post my first set of prelim sliders.

I've played a few games using Playmaker's Classic Sliders from a year ago, and they seemed to work well, but I've also found that default on Heisman was actually really good also. I think I'm just going to stick with the Heisman level this year, as it is harder to throw the deep ball on Heisman, plus it's not impossible to win. So, here's to AA this year with me.

I'm having all kinds of problems myself. I just finished a dynasty game with Virginia Tech against Georgia Tech and Sean Glennon had ZERO incomplete passes, and I threw the ball 17 times. GT's qb (Ball was hurt) only had 5 incompletes himself.

Also the Duke D-line blowing up my O-line is frustrating indeed. Perhaps I'll try some old sliders too.

Re: XBox/Ps2 Ncaa 07 sliders...

I really like that I am throwing passes all over the place in this year's Xbox version...I nearly got my WR hurt today playing as Temple against West Virginia...Threw one on the run High and way in front of the reciever...Luckily he was able to make the catch, take the big hit, and hold on for the TD in the front corner of the end zone.

But there have been a lot of plays I have overthrown, underthrown, or thrown passes behind my recievers....It's definitely the best game of NCAA on Default AA that I can remember.

I would say that QB accuracy will probably need to come down a bit for both human and CPU, but I need some more time with the game first. It's definitely a nice problem to have after the debacle last year and the year before.

If you guy's use my College Gameday sliders from last year then post stats using the exact setup I posted I could probably help you make tweaks based on the stats you post.

I had Human Awareness at 25% and CPU Awareness at 75% on those sliders. Both QB's were at 25% accuracy.

Here's the sliders I had last year

PLAYMAKERS COLLEGE GAMEDAY SET (LEVEL 3)

QBA-25/25
PASS BLK-55/55
WR CATCH-50/75
RBA-25/50
RUN BLK-25/50

AWR-25/75
KWDN-25/75
INT-15/15
BRK BLK-25/75
TKL-25/75

FGL-50/25
FGA-25/50
PNTL-50/40

How is the DB AI on AA?
I know on Heisman they are very good. I would like to try AA but don't want DB gaffs.

See I like the DB AI on Hesiman. I find it very realistic. The Dline and LB pass rush is just incredible. ALso on short yardage, it's very difficult to run for a 1st down. My line just gets pushed back.
