Biggest news out of this is that companies are looking at creating college basketball games. Almost no new news on CFB26 in this.

Just a reminder that Matt Brown isn't a video game journalist. He was just going nuts last year covering it cause he was filing a ton of FOI's and finding stuff to report, so he became the de facto guy. But I would imagine going forward he won't be reporting a ton of CFB game news, unless its related to what he usually covers, which is the sort of business of college athletics. I also feel like EA Sports was pretty interested in him building hype for them last year, but giving we're now back to an annual release cycle, there won't be nearly as much new information to digest.

Yeah, besides Chris Fowler and maybe Kevin Connors, I doubt we get many "leaks" or non-EA official news. It's different when they're trying to drum up hype for the first release in over a decade. I'm sure EA was more than happy with guys like Matt Brown last year. But with this far exceeding expectations and the foundation being set, we're going to be on the typical EA news release from here out

I would expect to start hearing news in May since it'll be 2 months out and it being a consistent news drip. With a release date of July 11

I saw this earlier in my recommended. I would guess that very few people playing this game care if there is a social media feed or CPU generated message boards talking about our dynasties. All they need to do is go to the wishlist threads on here or EA forums and there are plenty of better ideas for the next game.

I just like it's just going to end up like the social media hubs we see in games like Madden and NBA2K likely in the Twitter/X format. It'll be something we look at a couple times and forget about because of how repetitive it gets.



I just want to feel like I'm in a living breathing season. The immersion isn't there. The standard Twitter feed we see games is okay, but more is needed. Dynasty UI was built off of NCAA 14's heavily streamlined UI.
