List some house rules that you use for yourself vs. CPU controlled players.

For the most part, the house rules are based on Reversal discipline since we are allowed unlimited reversals. I liked it better when this was limited.

But here is my personal list.

1. I limit myself to ONE reversal per minute. (I keep my matches under a time limit so the timer is visible).

2. During the first 3 minutes of a match, No reversals are allowed.

3. Immediately after the CPU performs a Strong Grapple on me, I am not allowed to Reverse anything.

4. During the first 10 seconds (based on the game timer, not the ref's count) after being thrown outside, I am not allowed to Reverse anything. (I use an outside count of 20 for my matches)

5. Instant Recovery: Turned Off. (I find it to be unrealistic but I get the logic behind it).

6. If my "Stunned Meter" is at least half way filled, I am not allowed to Reverse anything.

I will add more as I think of them.

Re: WWE 2K Series: House Rules

Great thread idea.

My primary house rule against the CPU is that once my attacks have been stopped through a CPU reversal or something else, I cannot reverse until my damage is to the same point (or close to it) as my opponent.

These are great.

For myself, if I get caught by something, or there was a moment that truly felt like it should be the end of an epic match, I gladly take the 3 count.

Fair play CPU.

For I'd rather save the match for a rewatch with friends later on.

Re: WWE 2K Series: House Rules

Yea it takes a level of integrity to let a match play out like a WORKED match (In a scripted spot) but it feels good.

THis game is really good man. Like I am REALLY enjoying my experience.
