Re: NFL Free Agency: Most Impactful Moves for Madden 26?
One thing about Madden is that you don't really have to worry about guys getting upset if you offer other people in-season contracts or get guys who want more money after breakout seasons.
As the Eagles I am pretty sure that I resigned Milton Williams in-season. I also think he got more in Free Agency in real life than he is valued at in the game. Beyond that I didn't need to re-adjust Barkley's contract and even if I did he didn't have the kind of season in my Franchise that he had in real life.
These articles just emphasize how much more they could do with free agency and players morale and personalities on top of the fact that free agency is so dependent on overall and performance doesn't seem to matter.
If they added fog of war so that all you saw was your scouts grades and previous season stats it would make free agency more realistic. I think it would be harder to program to get the CPU to base it on stats or to fit that into their algorithm.
Reading this actually makes me disappointed and remind me they should be farther along in Madden with these systems
