Fantasy Draft Number One Pick.

If you had the number one pick in a Fantasy Draft, who do you select?
It was Trout for so long but apparently those days are over.
So, Shohei?
Judge?
Skenes?
Gunnar?
Elly?
Someone even younger?

Skenes. I always go pitching first, and if I'm using cleveland, Skenes is affordable.

Shohei, for sure. You'll get a few years of excellent pitching on top of the hitting that could age well for the next 10 years. There's no one that can compare to that.

I agree.
Skenes would be my pick
Jackson Merrill would be another one I would consider.

Re: Fantasy Draft Number One Pick.

Did Bobby Witt Jr. retire?

-The most valuable SS in the game.
-Speed, power, decent defensively.
-Very affordable over the next 3 years, which allows you to add some big money later on in the draft.
-Signed for basically his entire career (assuming no opt out...)
-Will only turn 25 mid June.

Easy choice at 1OA.

Re: Fantasy Draft Number One Pick.

With Fantasy Drafts I usually trend towards players on teams I normally would never use.

It would be a reach with the 1.01 but I would love to play with Yordan Alvarez so that would be my go-to. And he is still kinda young, so that would even work long-term.

Bobby Witt Jr is a good option. Power and speed from SS position.

Edit: sorry, I commented in here without really reading haha

He is my #2 overall.

Ohtani as a pitcher and DH is beyond generational……It’s Babe Ruth man.
