I’ll preface this by saying I’m mostly a user of the designer in the game but I really wanted to give the career mode a chance. It’s good, but needs lots of improvements. I’ll start with what I like and then add some suggestions that I think would go a long way and easily be possible in this game through an update
The Good
- the trainings and warm up events
- the attention to detail in actual events. Grandstands, caddy bibs, etc, all very good
- the announcers are better than expected
The Bad (needs fixing)
- the leaderboards need to be more bunched. It’s really goofy to finish 8th an event and lose by 20. It’s also messing with cut lines
- ghost balls or ability to play with people. You just can’t have a serious golf game where you’re on the final hole with zero clue what your opponent is doing. Use a ghost ball please
- length of season customization
- tee times and weather needs an update imo. On Thursday and Friday you should have opposite times meaning you should get different lighting and weather. This one is particularly annoying on four round events when you play identical lighting all four rounds regardless of results
- can we please have the option to turn off lpga players. I’m all for the women being apart of challenges but this is the pga tour not lpga and it just ruins the realism of the game
Nitpicky stuff
- having tee markers for all five positions and not just tournament tees
- potentially moving tees each round like in real life
- dynamic weather
- better courses for non licensed events
