I think he was making a funny about the "randomness" of injuries in the game.

For instance, I've had:

-A hitter break his ankle while taking a pitch.
-A broken arm from sliding feet first into the wall.
-A pitcher who took a ball off the head go out with a torn acl.

In fairness here, I'm just happy to see the injuries pop up once in a while when I'm playing, and don't really care what they're addressed as, but I do find them pretty funny sometimes!
