Squib kicks dribble along the ground, they're not a low line drive directly to the kick returner. They got this wrong in both CFB and Madden.

Don't use so much power.

Then it's a line drive to an up-man. Still not what a squib is.

Yeah the point of the squib is to make it hit the ground so the clock starts and the ball bounces all over. Not just a low base hit.

Re: Does EA not know what a squib kick is?

I've never tried a squib in my game so no experience to draw from. With that in mind..

Have you guys tried holding the up/down arrow on the kick meter down to force the ball low along with minimal power?

I'm guessing you have, but the only thing mentioned was "Don't use so much power.", so figured I'd ask in case I find myself in a situation where I would want to squib kick.

Thanks.

AGREE!!!! Squibs hit the ground right away like a hard grounder to third base. You kick them pretty hard in real a life but kick the top of the ball similar to an onside but not quite as downward and much harder. Should bounce around like a mother. This is more of a pop up to second line in the game. Stupid

Yeah, it doesn't move the arrow/trajectory at all when you try that.
