Contracts for AHL and ECHL players in my roster?

I have a question for roster makers. It's about AHL and ECHL players' salaries.

If I create an AHL player that has a 2-way contract or AHL contract only, what salary do you give him 0$ or 550000$ minimum? I ask that because salaries of AHL players can't be found anywhere.

Same question but with ECHL players. Do they have 2-way contracts or 1-way ECHL contracts. And do you give them a 0$ salary or a 550000$ minimum salary?

So, salaries don't matter too much in the ECHL or AHL since if they are AHL only players the game does not recognize them. Salaries are only for the NHL team when you call them up and those minor league players with nhl contracts in the AHL or ECHL can be found on puckpedia.

For this player I would set his salary at $870,000 since he is signed to NHL team but plays in the ECHL. His Minors salary is $82,500 so I would set his contract to two-way and set the years to two.

Ok thanks. So if I understand it well, if we don't have access to a player's salary like ECHL players, it doesn't matter which salary we put in unless they have a 2-way contract to the NHL.

Yea I wouldn't worry about a salary for echl or ahl only players only if they are signed by the nhl then it matters. Thats the only reason salary is there.
