Hello Show Nation. Happy New Year and well......... here is my hat being tossed into the ring with my "Better Late Than Never" MLB The Show 24 sliders.


I was a year behind in 2024 playing MLB The Show 23 and then of course I picked up 24 for free on PSN. We finally dipped our toes into 24 at the very end of 2024 and I am addicted and playing out ATG's 1990 40 man which is brilliant. And The Gamer here on OS then ported that beautiful piece of work to 24 and added career stats, awards and service time and folks....it opened up all the commentary and immersion. It is the proverbial cherry on top of that project that ATG tackled and conquered.

So understand I am playing and testing these and sharing these to be used exclusively with ATG's classic rosters on MLB The SHow 24. I am not playing a modern day franchise on 24. That will be reserved for the forth coming MLB The Show 25.

Yes...it's late. But hey I don't mind sharing.

Below is our beta set and it is very close to default HOF and so far it play beautifully.

I hope this may be it......but any tweaks I make will updated here on the OP as usual.

I’ll come along for the ride until 25 drops!

I got to the trade deadline with a White Sox rebuild this year, but quit playing when I ran into the no cpu trades bug that popped up. Then I dumped a bunch of hours into CFB 25, But I’ve been craving some baseball!

I’ll probably do a cardinals 2001 season and see if I can get Pujols another rookie of the year award.

I’m out of town for the next week but excited to have some baseball on the schedule when I get back.

Thanks Armour. Are you saying that these sliders might not “work” for a modern day franchise? I see contact for human and cpu are different. Is this an error? Usually you have these as the same

Not a mistake. CPU needs a slight boost on HOF however I am testing Legend Pitching and I am loving the feel and challenge.

So stay tuned….I may have an update after this weekend.

I don’t see why these would not work in modern franchises but just know I am only testing on classic rosters.

I think I will keep playing ‘23 until ‘25 comes out, there are opening day rosters in the vault, and you have your sliders ready to go!
