How often to in-game injuries happen in 2K25?

In previous 2K’s I had to lower the durability sliders (gameplay sliders) to around 10 to get realistic injuries. Is it the same this time?

Also separately, how about MyNBA sim injuries? I used to raise that slider to 90 to get realistic injuries. Is it good at 50 (the sim injury slider) this year?

Sim injuries seem just right at about 65 injury frequency for player and cpu. My injury report near midseason currently is at about 55 players, with most of those hurt/recovering but playable injuries, and then about 12-15 players that are more seriously injured, including a few previous season carryovers, a few ACLs and an Achilles. Compare that to about 75 players on today's injury report in the real NBA, with around the same splits, and I'm pretty happy.

In-game injuries, it's harder to quantify, because you're generally playing on 1 team in a set amount of games, so smaller sample to get hurt. That said, I've had about 5 injuries a season in-game playing about 40 games or so of the 82. Generally injuries like eye pokes and strains, but I've had one or two serious ones, including a collapsed lung and a fractured ankle.

In short, super happy with the results of 65/65 on injury frequency.

I had my durability slider on 20, at one point 6 of my guys were injured. I had to raise it to 40.

Oh wow. Sounds like more injury frequency than 2K23 then. How’s it at 40?

it's random, haven't touched the injury slider and one game i had 3 of my players and out for the game with 1 cpu losing one.
