Hardest To Break CFB Records.

Game Season or Career, Team, National or Conference,
what's the hardest record you've noticed within EA CFB that may be impossible to break?

IMO it's Akron's single game record for interceptions.

The National record is 5 but Akron's school record is 6 interceptions by Dick Miller in 1937.
That one may be impossible, even with fifteen minute quarters.

6 would be pretty difficult. In my current season I had 4ints in one game with my Air Force safety (user control) on Heisman difficulty. I believe I have 13 on the year after 12 games.

Re: Hardest To Break CFB Records.

WR Zay Jones national career record of 399 receptions looks like another nearly out of reach record.

Sounds like a challenge to me. Just find a G5 team with 1 great underclassmen receiver and force feed him the ball all game against generally lower competition. And for OOC games schedule all FCS or bad teams. I can do it.

Your post had me curious, so I looked into his stats at East Carolina and somehow I thought he was doing almost 100 receptions a year, but he really exploded his Senior year. He really went off that last year.

Zay Jones - East Carolina Stats

2013: 12 games, 62 receptions, 604 yards, 5 touchdowns
2014: 13 games, 81 receptions, 830 yards, 5 touchdowns
2015: 12 games, 98 receptions, 1,099 yards, 5 touchdowns
2016: 12 games, 158 receptions, 1,746 yards, 8 touchdowns

I think breaking the 399 is definitely doable with the CFP and if your team also plays a Conference Championship. You could get in theory, 17 games a year if going all the way to the National Championship each season.

To get to 400 receptions over 4 years x 17 games is only 6 catches per game.

To get to 400 receptions over 4 years x 12 games is just over 8 at 8.333. So get 9 catches a game and it can be done even if not making the CFP and a Conference Championship.

I can definitely see someone on here getting that record.

I just had a CPU Georgia QB throw 63 TD's in a season breaking the record of 62 set by Bailey Zappe.

And you'll also have to keep him from leaving early for the NFL lol.

They're usually pretty easy to convince I find. But if its a generated player, you could also edit his ratings down at the end of the year so he won't leave lol.
