Taking a worse job as an established coach?

So, unfortunately this version of coaching carousel left a lot to be desired after playing NCAA 14. After turning a program into a regular contender, I was curious if/how some of you were able to then pivot to a rebuild in the same Dynasty. It seems the offers I get are all too good. Should I simply take a coordinator job, tank them for a season, and hopefully get fired? I’m aiming for a 2 star or below HC job.

I don’t want to make a new coach because I’d like to keep my traits/history.

What has worked for you guys?

I was also wondering this. Shoot, I created a decent team at San Diego State and never received any offers at any schools. Low or high. I will say that I haven’t played a full season since the patch/update that supposedly fixed that. I just started an “Auburn: You Suck” dynasty. Moved them to the Sun Belt and earn their way back to the SEC.

BUMP - I was wondering how others have done this a well? I started at Hawaii, built them up for a few years then landed as OC at USC and won a few Championships and would like to move back to another 1-2 star school but all I am getting are 4-5 star school offers?

Based on what I have found online the only real "workaround" was to create a new coach in the league for the team I wanted but it will start you back at Level 1.

First thing that comes to mind is to tank a season and intentionally get fired.

I have no idea if this will actually work, maybe try it in a offline test-bed dynasty first lol.
