Yes, I know about licensing, budgets and team size for EA but here we go!

Create A Team

Have all logos from teams already in the game.

With the font logos those should be used to spell out team names and not just one letter.

Team Play by Play does not even match some of the logos provided.

We should be able to upload our own logos.

New Mascots to match the logos provided

Update Arena choices

New Scoreboards

Goalie and Player spotlights need to be updated

Update Signature Effects

More On Ice Projections

Props are useless since they do not lower

Power Play Presentation needs more

New Goal, Powerplay and Win Songs

Create A Player

Alphabet sorting needs to be added to reduce scrolling.

Details should be at the top

Add more names to Play by Play

Unlock Drafted Year

Get the Locations and Place of Origin in sync. You have locations but not the country and vice versa

Salary Default should be $0

Skating styles should have a random button so it will generate different styles for you

Character needs a total revamp. If not more heads, more eyebrow styles, and more hair styles.

Beards should have all 1s as stubble across all styles.

Helmets should have more

Gloves more styles

Skates more styles

Sticks more styles and be able to customize the color of them like goalie sticks

Sock option should have the default set to back as that’s the most common

Player Type for goalies updated

Goalie masks need updating across the board

Customized goalie masks

Other leagues goalie mask menu takes too long to scroll.

Goalie Sticks not in order

Goalie Sticks show up backwards on catching right-handed goalies

Add current Sticks, Trappers, Blockers and Pads

Trapper, Blocker and Pads Bauer Vapor Hyperlite 2 is mixed with Brian’s

Zones need to be updated to have each one their own

All players are not 85 durability so change it

Full all team’s control

Online Franchise

Franchise should be 30 years.

Upgrading stadiums should be better and have more of an effect. Add real practice facilities and be able to create them too for expansion teams or new facilities.

Record book needs to be updated

Make a bigger deal when someone breaks a record or it’s their first game, goal, point, hat trick, shut out. Show a cut scene of them with the puck in the locker room after the game.

Activity feed should look more like a social media post. Confirmed traded,
Trade rumors, Player signings, Contract extension, Players going on IR or LTIR, Players on waivers or claimed, callups and send downs, Players asking to be traded

AHL only contracts

Option to send players to Europe, Juniors, AHL or ECHL

ECHL implementation

Staff should have real staff with reasonable contracts to resign. Head Coach,
Associate Coach, two Assistant Coaches, Goalie Coaches, Skills Coaches, Video Coaches, Medical Staff. With practices

Associate Coach works on special teams

Assistant coaches work on Forwards or Defense

Goalie Coach works with goalies

Skills coaches improve a set of skills

Video coach – you get an alert to review off sides, goalie interference, goal or no goal.

Medical Staff – helps with how fast a player heals and how often players get injured.

Scouting Staff – Pro Scouting Director and Amateur Scouting Director, Goalie

Scouts, European Scouts, Russia, ROTW, Nordic, AHL and NHL.
Pro Directors skills help improve the scouts under him. NHL and AHL and
Goalie Scout – 9 total

Amateur Directing skills help improve the scouts under him. 2 Euro, 2 Russia, 2 Nordic, 2 ROTW and 3 goalie scouts.

Conversations – Players can request trades, let you know they are retiring after the season, let them know they are going back to juniors, ahl or Europe.

If a player knows they are retiring there should be something their last game at home if they have a certain amount of years for that team. Waving to the crowd and stick tapes.

Players that were staples on teams and traded at the end of their career to win a Stanley Cup stand up and acknowledge the crowd.

Referees make mistakes like missed calls, offsides, goals, goalie interference.

Trading Block AI needs to be fixed

Winter Classic and Stadium series added

Allstar game added with skills competition

Draft should have players walking across the stage and lottery not predetermined before season.

Stanley cup presentation need to be better. Team mobbing the goalie, team celebrating in the locker room. Stanley Cup parades but different for each teams.

Trades should have conditional picks and protected picks.

Team history should factor into a player signing with your team.

If no all star. Tournament should be present then.

The option to add teams expansion teams during your franchise. I create an NHL team and then create a AHL team and either assign them an ECHL team or create one too.

Goalies are playing too many games and needs to be toned down.

Detroit has octopus thrown on ice.

Players with faces and not silhouettes

Faceoff taking needs to be more realistic if I attempt too many times player should be kicked out of center

Player and goalie movements need to be updated.

Stanley Cup Banner raising. Slots with predetermined spaces so all the years can be seen each win

Retired number banner raising, Slots are predetermind so you can see them each year.

Other Notes

ERAs like NBA 2K. Playing in old arenas, old players with no helmets and no goalie masks. Starting in 1917 with the Montreal Canadiens, Montreal Wanderers, Ottawa Senators, and Toronto Arenas. Same schedule and players following the same timeline.

Add new leagues such as NCAA, USHL, Mestis, J20 Nationell, KHL, VHL

Full Customization with no upload limits not replacing current teams. Create a league. Ads on the ice, the team, arenas, practice ice.

Be A Pro

I have not played this this year and I rarely do since it’s the same.

The AI logic needs to be worked on with this

New introduction like a scout watching you at your school championship game to join a league and you work your way to be an NHL draft pick. Which ever league you choose you go through their draft or you can pick also.

The locker rooms should be different for each team you play for.

You have practice drills to help with building up skills and training camp

Scouts from NHL teams ask you questions for Hockey IQ

NHL draft should have you sitting in the location and you walk down to the stage and get your team pic. You walk off stage and get your face scanned into the NHL game.

GM tells you the plan for you unless you meet expectations go back to juniors or back to Europe or college.

At the end of your season GM can say see you at training camp or sign you now and finish the season with the AHL or NHL.

If you don’t like the team you got drafted by and don’t sign your entry level contract you become a free agent and teams interest approach you.

You can request trades

You can retire after the season or you can let the GM know this is your last year. With letting the GM know early and you’ve been on the team for years your last home game you are saluted at the beginning of the game. If you never won a cup and want to go to a cup contender at the trade deadline the GM is more willing to move you.

I have sent it to them. I know a lot can’t get done due to licensing and the size of their team but several are easy to check

I can't say this strong enough whatever you create and you're going to put in the game don't half *** it !

You had excellent things like no helmets but then you either can't or forget to make that option to have goalies of that era wear a fiberglass mask or maybe nothing at all

Same thing with season mode where you have to have 32 teams but in franchise mode you can create anything you want even a 6 League but then you can only control one team ??? Freedom !

The scary part is they probably don't even have 40% of the real faces in the game like other sports games do but they had time to create six diversity higher referees and now coaches that are nothing but a distraction and unrealistic especially when trying to play old time hockey.

They must have got paid a nice payday to put that garbage in the game while everyone has been crying for real faces on the NHL players for over 20 years

As much as much as I'm loving the gameplay my prediction for NHL 26 is they will have the female cracking coach on the bench while still not having 50% of the real NHL players faces or even a mask editor which we've been crying for , for a long time also.

We know they can do the goalie mask editor since it's in college football designing a helmet.

The goalie no helmet and fiberglass is in there.

Thats why we should have full control customization like 2K. IF its done correctly.

The team putting women in the game has nothing to do with missing features. It’s the small dev team size and the lack of leadership up until last year when they cleaned house at top. They’ve shown this year that they have a direction and have added/addressed many issues already. Now we can hope that they take another step up next year and address more issues that we’d like. Blaming it on “diversity” is just idiotic and incorrect.
