Quick question on being Fired

Just had played my last game last night, and went 8-4 on the season. When I advanced my dynasty to the next week I got a message stating I had been fired.

The game however proceeded to allow me to recruit, and, and as I forward towards bowl week, I received my bowl invitation, and as far as I can tell I have the option to play the bowl game.

I had to get up and go to work before I could investigate further.

Just curious, if im fired, why am I allowed to play the bowl game? or was the firing popup a bug of some sort?

I only ask because I figured after being fired I would lose all interaction with the current team?

Have been playing this dynasty for quite some time now, just ended my 4th season. I'm only tyring to plan out what's next for me, and am uncertain because I can't access the game until later today.

Can anyone fill me in on what the process is here? Thanks.

This is normal you won't go to your new team till after the off-season and you have finished with the school. There's gonna be an arrow at the top of the main page to tell you how many weeks you have left

Following up Iceman43's comment, the same thing happens when you quit your job to accept a different one. They allow you to complete the season. I disagree with so that implementation so I simulate the game(s) rather than to play them. I would not be surprised if the majority of players disagree with me.

Re: Quick question on being Fired

Thanks for the explanation guys.

I guess im not a fan of how they are doing that either. Why would i have any interest in playing the bowl game after they fired me?

Kind of disappointed, but is what it is.

Thanks again!

I actually think simming is the right move. If you take another job in the real world or get fired before the season ends, very rarely do you get to coach the team.

Do you always get new job offers or are you just toast?

You should get at least some offer, at least as a coordinator.
