Patch 1.2
[12.12.2024]
https://playundisputed.com/news/undi...-december-2024
Hey fight fans,
Welcome back to Undisputed. This update brings you new venues, a significant update to career mode, quality-of-life improvements, and more. Read the full notes below.
New Venues
  • Added Cambrian Hall. Located in the heart of England’s Capital and draped in rich boxing history, fighting at this venue is every prospect’s dream.
  • Added Atlantis, an underwater aquarium-like venue, located on the ocean bed. Can you keep your composure in the ring when you’re deep under water?
New Cosmetics
  • All players will receive an additional free outfit for Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk – recreate their historic first fight in all its glory with their fight-accurate outfits.
Career Mode
  • Introduced the ability for players to move up and down a weight class from their starting weight class. We know this is one a lot of you have been asking for and we’re excited to see you step up to the challenge of becoming Undisputed in not one, not two, but three weight classes with the same fighter!
  • Introduced the esteemed boxing correspondent Gareth A Davies to the Career Mode media feed, the first in a series of real-life media figures and brands.
  • Made a range of quality-of-life improvements to the career mode’s UI.
General Changes
  • Introduced Cruiserweight, Bantamweight, and Light Heavyweight queues to online quick fight and online ranked.
  • Added new knockdown and knockout animations.
  • Added an animation that plays when a fighter’s block health has been depleted, giving players better visual feedback during gameplay.
  • Slightly reduced stamina cost on missed punches and power punches to make combination and pressure fighting a more viable option.
  • Made a range of quality-of-life improvements to game audio and commentary.
  • Made performance optimisations to custom characters.
  • Fixed an issue that meant players that quit out of online games on PlayStation weren’t being punished, and the win was not being correctly awarded to the remaining player. This now works as expected.
  • Many other bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.

Patch 1.1.3
[14.11.2024]
https://playundisputed.com/news/update-1-1-3-notes
Hey fight fans,
Thank you for your support since the launch of Undisputed. We know that some critical issues are having an impact on the game experience, particularly for our online players, and we appreciate how frustrating they can be.
We shared an update with you a few weeks ago on some of those key issues, outlining a plan to resolve them in our first scheduled update in mid-December.
We’re happy to share that, after several weeks of work on some of these critical issues, we’re able to deliver an interim update today, with the list of changes below, while maintaining our plans for December and future updates.
Patch Notes for Update 1.1.3:
- Changes to the block colliders to ensure that block functions as expected and the number of power punches that break through the block is greatly reduced.
- Deontay Wilder’s stats have been reduced, and we’ve removed a trait. His power hooks should now be less impactful.
- Increased max stamina cost of hooks and straights.
- Increased the cost of power punches to both short-term and max stamina.
- Introduced a threshold on the number of power punches that can be thrown within a single fight before the stamina cost per power punch is increased further.
- Increased the stamina cost of pushing, which should reduce the amount of people spamming the push mechanic.
- Temporarily removed the critical stumble reaction from the game as it was too punishing.
- Reduced the effectiveness and chainability of hooks by further slowing them down when a fighter is gassed.
- Fixed an issue that would prevent players from moving if they entered flat-footed movement while fighting on the inside.
- On Xbox and PC Steam: Ranked quitters should now receive a loss on their record, and the remaining player should receive a win. The fix for PlayStation is taking longer than we’d like and will hopefully be part of the December update.
As mentioned, another update will be released in mid-December, which will contain further bug fixes as well as new features, improvements, and content for you to enjoy. There will also be plenty more to come in 2025.
Thank you again for your support and patience. We’ll see you in the ring!

Patch 1.1.3
[17.10.2024]
https://playundisputed.com/news/launch-update
An Update on Full Launch
Hey fight fans,
We want to thank everyone for supporting Undisputed, both through Early Access and since our full launch last week. This project has been a huge labour of love and as we've said many times, we are committed to making the greatest boxing game of all time.
It is great to see so many people playing and enjoying Undisputed, but we are also aware of a number of issues affecting the game, especially around online multiplayer. We sincerely apologise to any players impacted and appreciate your patience as we work to fix them.
To ensure we're delivering significant and high-quality improvements, our first update is planned to drop in mid-December. We know that feels like a long time, however this enables us to properly test, refine, and tweak the fixes so that you get the best experience possible. It also enables us to deliver on these fixes without a knock-on impact to other planned updates that we know players care about both in the December and future updates, such as improvements to blocking and career mode.
We are focusing on what we believe, based on your feedback, are the most critical issues:
  • Stagger hit reactions causing desync issues, which lead to players being unable to fight effectively.
  • Power punches consistently bleed through blocks, meaning winning a fight online is largely down to throwing power punches.
  • Deontay Wilder is overpowered – particularly his power hook.
  • Some DLC fighters are unable to be used online.
  • Player becomes stuck in an infinite transition screen after winning through an Injury TKO.
  • For a minority of users, DLC doesn't appear for secondary accounts on Xbox.
We don't intend to stop here, however - we are planning further updates that will provide even more improvements, game balancing, penalties for players quitting early during matches, and additional features.
Thank you for you bearing with us.

Patch 1.00
[11.10.2024]
https://playundisputed.com/news/undisputed-launch
Patch Notes
Gameplay
  • We've replaced gassed, dazed, and fatigue punch animations. Previously, these punches were slowed/increasingly slowed animations. This felt and looked clunky. We've now replaced these so that instead of slowing the animations, the time needed between punches is increased, so players can’t throw as many punches within the same period of time as when not dazed or gassed.
  • We've increased the short and the long-term stamina cost for punches, and further increased the stamina cost of missed punches – meaning you should pick your shots carefully and ensure you time your punches for accuracy if you want to prolong your stamina into those championship rounds.
  • We've balanced our between-round stamina recovery so that players can now directly impact the amount of stamina they'll recover. The between-round stamina recovery is heavily tied to your activity in the latest round, so in rounds where you're using lots of stamina, you'll also recover less overall when the round ends, and vice versa.
  • We've increased the damage dealt by power punches, and we've also increased the damage dealt by a punch being a counter punch, so if you're able to catch your opponent slacking and land a clean power punch with the likes of Wilder or Frank Bruno, your opponent will feel it.
  • We've also reduced the counter window, meaning your punches must be even more well-timed to score a counter punch – so read your opponent and time your shots well if you want to maximise damage.
  • We've introduced directional damage, which means that forward moving punches now do more damage than backwards moving punches.
  • We've increased the speed of health regeneration for short term head and body health, while increasing the damage dealt to max head and body health. The goal being to ensure players and AI can have high-pace, high-action rounds without them leading to an excessive number of knockdowns.
  • We have updated our stationary jabs and stationary straights so those ones-and-twos will come out cleaner than ever.
  • We've updated the body straight so that fighters properly bend their knees. This looks a bit more natural and can also help you get underneath certain punches if your timing is on point.
  • We've shortened the maximum range of body uppercuts so that they can't be used as a lead punch; get inside to use uppercuts effectively.
  • We've updated the step-in straight and step-in body jab, giving players more options to get inside or chase down an opponent who is on the back foot.
  • We've updated blocking poses in Undisputed to improve the consistency of all blocks, but in particular body blocks, so you won't see as many punches bleeding through when you feel you should have stopped them.
  • We've changed the way that block health regeneration works: block health now regenerates at a slower rate than usual while you're holding block, meaning you'll have to make good decisions about when to let off block as it could open a window for your opponent to land punches.
  • Block health now drains more quickly when a fighter is dazed, which should make the overall block health even more important as it could be the difference between surviving and being knocked out.
  • Removed Clinch. This feature did not live up to the quality expectations of the game and so has been taken out while we investigate other ways we could implement clinch.
  • Additional balancing and various improvements to gameplay to make the game more impactful and more enjoyable to play.

Online Multiplayer
  • Implemented Denuvo anti-cheat which will allow us to catch and ban more cheaters.
  • A series of improvements have been implemented which improve the online multiplayer stability and synchronization.

AI Fighters
  • We've further differentiated the AI behaviour of the four fighter archetypes we have in the game, and how they impact the AI fighter's behaviour in the ring. Players should be able to see and feel the difference between a Swarmer, who will attempt to pressure opponents with a high volume of punches over the course of a fight, and the other archetypes such as a Slugger, which should throw more power shots, be more durable, and more willing to take a punch to throw one.
  • Fighter archetypes are now balanced independently, meaning that depending on which archetype a fighter is, they'll have slightly different modifiers on some of their stats – for example, sluggers deal more damage and have more health than other archetypes.
  • Further to the four archetypes, we've also dug down into individual fighter personalities and introduced specific preferences for things like punch and combo selection in the following fighters: Canelo Alvarez, Deontay Wilder, Muhammad Ali, Katie Taylor, Claressa Shields, Tyson Fury, Joe Frazier, Roy Jones Jr., Oleksandr Usyk, and Chantelle Cameron.

Localisation
  • Added support for additional languages.

Tutorial
  • Completely new tutorial, designed to get players fighting quicker and more effectively.

Career Mode
  • Significant balance changes to money, fame, and XP.
  • Updated UI screens throughout career mode.
  • Balanced boxer ratings, including stat points earned, throughout the course of a career mode. This should make progression feel more natural and allow players to reach higher ratings earlier in their careers.
  • Added Achievements/Trophies in Career Mode.

Character Creator
  • Introduced more options for customization, e.g. additional hair choices.
  • Added Muscle Tone adjustment option.
  • Added a feature to create a random boxer instantly.
  • Added some Boxer Presets so players can have a starting point for their character.
  • Added Riyadh Season branded gloves.

General
  • Removed Ryan Garcia from the game.
  • Updated the venue select screen with a nicer preview of the venues.
  • Various fixes across the game to improve stability, usability and performance.
  • Improved the game's support of unusual aspect ratios.
  • Improvements to frame rate across the game.
  • Improved loading times.
  • Added support for additional languages.

Bugs
  • Fixed a wide variety of issues including soft locks, performance issues, etc.

Patch 1.3
[01.04.2025]
https://playundisputed.com/news/update-notes-april25
Hey fight fans!
Welcome back to Undisputed! This update packs fresh venues, career mode enhancements, gameplay improvements and more. Read the full notes below!
New Venues
  • Added Café Royal. This licensed venue is situated in the heart of London and steeped in boxing heritage.
  • Added Riyadh Season Gym. Further immerse yourself in this dominant city of boxing by fighting in this new licensed venue.
  • Added The Observatory. A brand new, high-tech venue with a heavy sci-fi feel.
Gameplay Changes
  • Made some minor adjustments to how punch targeting and tracking work. We’re currently playtesting a more impactful improvement right now and if the playtesting goes well, we will ship these changes to everyone in another update as soon as we can.
  • We've rebalanced block health. The longer you continuously hold your block, the more damage your block health will take. Continuously holding your block will also now slow down your ability to block again after throwing a punch by reducing the animation speed, allowing your opponent to more easily work around your block if you’re overusing it.
  • Temporarily removed flash knockouts from the game due to an issue that caused the game to lock. Flash knockdowns remain unimpacted.
Career Mode
  • Introduced Career Custom Roster – you are now in control of which of your custom characters or licensed fighters you want in your career mode playthrough, allowing you to further tailor your experience and fully immerse yourself.
  • Added fighter customization in career mode, so you are now able to customize your fighter’s attire.
  • Licensed boxers now age in line with their real-life birthday dates.
General Changes
  • Undisputed is now compliant with PlayStation 5 Pro. Players on the PlayStation 5 Pro can expect revamped lighting and improved gameplay graphics.
  • Enabled instant replays for online game modes. Both players must have replays enabled for them to be active.
  • Improved audio quality for players using sound bars and headphones.
  • Introduced a Red Carpeting System, which guides players to new content, like new fighter outfits or player cards, through the menus.
  • Added 2 new hairstyles to character creator.
  • Updated old school boxers’ shoes, to be more in line with how they looked in real life.
  • Homepage stats screen has now been revamped to track even more areas of the game – such as career. It now includes things like your fighter’s overall stats, which boxer and game mode are your most played, etc.

Today's patch brought a huge variety in the game playing against A.I.

It took me 5 times to ko Riddick Bowe. The developers weren't kidding when they said you have to pace yourself if you want to go into the deeper championship rounds.

I was Joe Louis mind you, and until I started to put combinations together wasn't until i hurt Bowe.
