MLB the Show 25 The Mets

I hear that we are the front runners for Soto and have interest in Adames.

There are a LOT of rumors going around about what moves are being made.

Cohen is definitely going to make some moves because we have 180 Million dollars leaving the payroll.

On next years game the Mets should have a good roster to work with.

As long as The Show has the Cohen budget in the game, I dont believe I will have trouble constructing a roster. I just hope if we dont sign Soto IRL, I hope whoever he does sign with, its after something like Feb 26ish, the default roster should be locked in, and I would try to sign Soto to a one year deal if he would accept it. But what I really want is anupgrade in pitching. Tho to be fair, I want that every year lol.

I have read that Cohen is pursuing Corbin Burns. He is supposed to be a priority right along with Soto. Burns might be a better signing than Soto.

I would love to have Corbin. I really cant imagine he would stay in Baltimore, considering they didnt play well in the second half of the season. Might as well meet the Mets, get a great contract and have a chance to play on a team that could do something really special. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the only way Baltimore is playing in Oct. 2025 is if its in somebody's Show Franchise.

Baltimore has arguably the best core of young stars in the game today though........

Another rumor is that Cohen doesn't want to pay Alonso $200 million.

If we can get Pete for a lower price AND get Soto and/ or Adames then that is a MAJOR win.

Pete having a off season may work in our favor.

If Pete is still a free agent on the default roster, I will let him walk. And not because of money, I'm more than willing in MLBTS to spend every dollar Cohen has in our budget. And not because I dont like Alonso. Polar Bear Pete is already one of my all-time favorite Mets. But in the Show, I press too hard every at bat with Pete. I feel like I'm trying to hit 500 homers in a season with Pete and I have yet to even hit thirty in a year, and havent hit over .250 with him either.
