Sony just confirmed a ps5 pro patch for NBA 2K25 on their website playstaion.blog

Are there any details about what the PS5 version technically entails? And also is Xbox releasing their own version of “PS5 Pro?”

Xbox doesn't do pro versions of their consoles. Microsoft consider the Series X their pro.

Depends on how you look at it. A PS5 is 450, now I have better graphics, faster load times and twice the storage for 250. Will take my disc drive off my slim, switch plates and sell it. With that being said, this will be the first game I try out

Probably on this game but we’ll have to wait and see. Some games have major upgrades but I have the tv to support it and I’m going to enjoy every upgrade available. Definitely will hold me off from buying a PC that I know nothing about for a few years

Highly suggest a PC if you willing to drop $700+ on any piece of hardware. No amount of frame rate / resolution upgrades are going to justify the outdated courts, arenas, player models, etc that come with the console version of this game.
