Can anyone recommend a dribble tutorial using regular players?

I'm trying to figure out dribbling for an offline franchise, and all of the dribble tutorials are built around using Curry and Fox and other top-end players. Or else they're about finding the most overpowered builds and using them to beat people online.

Is there a video for people who want to play offline, something about how people like me (lower stick skill, newer to the game) can utilize more mid-level players and at least occasionally get around a defender? I can't seem to get the timing down and I end up dribbling around for a couple seconds while the AI defender yawns and waits for me to pass it away for a last-minute semi-contested shot.

I can't seem to get by anyone using the likes of Jalen Suggs or Cade Cunningham. I realize it's mostly a skill issue, I'm just hoping for help finding instructions I can better understand.

Have you seen any of Kevin Cruz videos? That's usually a good place to start. But your going to take the player to the practice court. Animations are so wide variety now. You really need to know how much each one together.

Also have you played around with go to shots? There are also breakdown combo for each player. It's a "canned" animation that you can break out of by flicking the right stick.

**Just a disclaimer I don't have 2k25 and not great with the Dribble sticks**

I think Kevin Cruz is a great resource for knowing all of the moves, but this video from Da Czar (from 2k24) is what I'm going to try to work out how to Dribble with different players. My idea that it will be my understanding from one go to move and then I can branch from that. The go to move may be different for different characters and the way you want to finish is dependent on who you are using and there strengths.

For example with Jake Brunson I found his ball hand switch back very nice, as it has a step back in it, so I was going to play games of 1v1 Blacktop, and Scrimmage where I focus on getting the feel of his switchback in lots of settings and how the CPU react to it and build moves on top of that, most likely simple drives, attacking size up or a step back so I can perceive what the defenders is doing and act accordingly.

I also want to play with playing with different paces, walk and jog. As well as using shielding the ball (LT) into screens.

As you experiment I'd love to hear your findings

It's funny you brought up Jalen Brunson.
