Did EA ever fix the editing bug where if you edit a player it changes the jersey number of a player with the same number on the opposite side of the ball?

From what I have seen, yes. Which doesn't help when multiple NIL players still don't have the correct jersey numbers on so that glitch no longer being around sucks when attempting to get players the correct number

Yes. You can now give duplicate numbers to Offense and Defensive players. NIL numbers won't change though
