What's your favorite 360/PS3 Madden?

Doing PS3 on my Steam Deck and it's not bad in terms of playability. What Madden for 360/PS3 was your favorite? I know the ones for PS2 era were probably better but I like not having to play defense and I know the rosters a lot better.

From Madden 99 to Madden 11, I thoroughly enjoyed Madden each year, so M11 is my pick. Starting with M12, I started playing less and less. I still bought Madden each year after M12 but the most positive spin I could put on Madden since Madden11 is to grade it pass/fail. And as long as C and D is still a passing grade, Madden passes.

It's tough to settle on one in particular. A lot of Madden games from that generation, especially towards the end, would excel in one particular area, but be significantly lacking in others.

If I was to ever "Frankenstein" a best possible Madden from that generation, I'd go with:

• M10 and M11's Presentation
• M12's Franchise Mode
• M25's Gameplay

If I had to settle on one Xbox 360/PS3 Madden to recommend, though, I'd go with M12. I've written at-length about my fondness for that particular game before, but, in short, I feel that it offers the best Franchise mode experience of the generation and gameplay that may not quite be at the level of M25, but is still strong in its own right (especially with the Game Speed slowed a bit).
