Unacceptable EA

I had a video but apparently the file is to big. The CPU receiver took one of my dB's out of coverage but no offensive pass interference which let to a wide open receiver for a touchdown. Now I'm Utep and I'm playing Nebraska and my receiver fumbles the ball but he was clearly down, I had no timeouts and there ward no automatic review. Next time I got the ball same thing happened and no review. This game is to much like madden

Just to be clear, you’re saying that you saw bad officiating and you’re saying that is unacceptable?

Sounds a LOT like college football to me.

This is completely different than 14. Every fumble was reviewed in 14 and it seemed like only the QB was guilty of fumbles. I had a bad fumble ruled against me and expected a review. It wasn't coming so I called a review at the last second and got the ball back. Neither implementation is correct in my opinion, but a call that close should have been reviewed.


I have never seen OPI called in this game yet. I don't know if it is implemented or what you have to do in order to get flagged for it.

i think the pass interference/illegal contact penalties are almost entirely based on the angle the contact occurs. because on default penalties ive seen negligible contact not initiated by me gets me a flag and other times when im shocked i didnt get a flag. specifically to your non pi call if it was a pick play which it sounds like i dont think they code for that so you can essentially get away with murder and it will be considered incidental contact.


also like poster above said on default im not sure i can recall any offensive pass interference call.

I've had a couple of instances where OPI has been called. A lot of times it happens on RPOs where the WR is blocking.

Welcome to college football. If you watch college football IRL every week you'll see how bad refereeing is in college football. PI in general is one of the more difficult things the officials have a hard time with especially when most of the officials are in their 50s and 60s and cant move as fast as the high level athletes they are officiating. So in a way EA has been accurate with the missed PI calls.

It’s definitely implemented as I’ve had it called against my team multiple times (not sure if I’ve seen it called against my opponent). It is certainly one of the rarer penalties in my experience, but not as rare as facemask.
