Casual returning to Madden after years: Should I get 24 or 25?

Hey there. Just a quick question from a casual for you more seasoned Madden gamers.

I caught the NFL bug this fall and have been wanting to buy Madden for the first time in two decades, but not sure whether I should go with the cheaper NFL24 or the newer NFL25.

Reviews that I have seen about the latest iteration -- just as I remember when I used to play Madden avidly back in the 00s -- are very mixed. Some rave about Madden 25's new physics while others complain about the passing accuracy being too high and run game being barely existent.

I will likely spend much of my time playing Franchise Mode, so my question is which game do you guys suggest I get in terms of realism and enjoyment?

If you are on PC: M25 because it has now modding support and the first mods dropped the last few days.

But if you play it on console...don't buy it, it's not worth the money

Madden 24. You can get it dirt cheap and if you don't like it, no big loss. Major caveat from me tho,FWIW I'm not buying 25 until Thanksgiving / Christmas holidays.
