Not knowing that game...

Yesterday, feeling tired of watching my teammates in RTTS always getting 0-2 counts when I'm getting on base, I changed the settings so that I would get all the at bats in those situation.

After a while, I realised the game was pretty different. Started to see more singles, doubles, even HR. Yeah, a few SO here and there, but that's normal.

This morning, after reading here that someone was amazed by the amount of animations that he was seeing even after many months of playing, I asked myself why I wasn't seeing much interactions from crowd, off field, etc. So I changed my customs stadium back to minor league venues like All American Park and Shippett Stadium.

Geez, Louise, what a different world. Saw BB catching foul ball in closeup, crown reacting more like it should, and showing signs with my player name on.

I've been playing that game since MLBTS 13. Reality check that the old man I am is not knowing the game he play enough. Like watching baseball in 2024 versus 1995 isn't the same, I'll need to adjust since it changed and it's deeper than it's ever been, overall.

I've even saw stats with BB% and SO% that I never noticed...

Don't know if I'm the only one, but had to share! :-)

Beaule, you broke the game lol. Each mode is supposed to have its own unique feel and experience, from RTTS to Franchise to March to October to Diamond Dynasty to Homerun Derby. Even Play Now plays different than a game within Franchise. What you did was turn RTTS into a hybrid with Franchise. Now, if someone can figure out a way to get a hybrid of Franchise and March to October, maybe we can have a Season Mode again.

I just browsed within the stats and saw there was a second above average! I'll need to get those advanced stats figured fast! Was so much simpler when I was like Vladdy Sr. If it's reachable, hit the damn ball as hard you can!
