If you like EAs brand of football, you will like this. If you don't, this probably won't win you over.

I thought with the addition of simulation mode there would be some fouls. Nope. 15 minute half's very strict referee, I had 2 total.

Cpu still plays perfect angles and tackles perfectly with remarkable precision.

Graphics are great.

Runs great on the ROG Ally.

I dunno,I guess I get why some people like these games I just really don't. It's included in EA play pro so I tried it but not sure it will grow on me. I just really want a fun football game again.

Re: EAFC 25 early access impressions

I played one game with the new default simulation settings and 15 minute halves on world class. As Bristol City, I lost 3-2 to Hull, losing to header from a corner in injury time

The game was really enjoyable tbh. It felt quite structured with plenty of time to get players back into position and, while bit may have been a placebo, it felt like I had a bit more control over the team shape with and without the ball

The sliders will need tweaking a little and I'm interested to see how the new AI tactical ones can hopefully improve it as well

I'm sure the rest of the game is your classic fifa/fc mix of frustration and ridiculousness though

This is the best Fifa I've played straight out of the box.

When Anths gameplay mod is done I will be in heaven.

Can you please tell me if that ridiculous bug has been fixed where the game crashes when cycling through the passing maps within the match statistics?

I disagree with the first part. I haven’t liked FIFA/EAFC since probably 15 or 16 and this is by far the best version of the game in at least 5 years. Simulation mode completely makes the game more realistic (along with wind and pitch effects). Also setting CPU sliders on tactical helps a lot too.

They def need to tweak some of the fouling, but it’s better than before. If you draw a defender in, they’ll call a foul when you make them miss.

My only gripe is that manual passing needs to be tweaked back to what it was. It’s improved but still doesn’t feel like you have as much control as before. Manually passing to me helps get the ball away from the “on the rails” feeling of auto passing. But at least the CPU makes mistakes now and looses the ball out of bounds or turns it over on a bad pass. Definitely a step in the right direction.

Re: EAFC 25 early access impressions

I'm really enjoying my 10 hour trial, so far I'm 2 hours in.

I like the simulation mode, I never got the best out of ea fc 24 as every game was high scoring and fast paced, as with every other sports game, im all about Simulation gameplay in offline modes.

Broadcast camera and simulation sliders definitely improved my experience in ea fc 25 so far.

Again, I'm only 2 hours in but this is a huge improvement from 24.

I'm assuming a patch will soon come in with loads of face scans needed, I'm an Aston Villa fan and I cannot believe Morgan rogers and Duran's faces are still generic.

I'm looking forward to playing my 10 hours and the standard version starting next Friday, enjoy.

Can't speak on the release version yet but in the beta it worked without issue.
