Eras Mynba Setup

So what this post is about is seeing if anyone has found a good progression/regression balance on the Eras. Because I like to play from the Kobe Era but with real players coming into the league every year it gets super unbalanced and oversaturated with players 80+ overall. It makes every team have all players 80+ overall and 3 or 4 90+ overalls for each team.

I always lower overalls of players 75+ by between 1-5 points because I feel like in general sports games have way too many high overall players. So with that and putting training no better 10-25 for each badge, work ethic etc. And putting Progression at 25 and Regression at 75 still way too many players woth high overalls.

For me it makes the mode unplayable a year or two into it.

Has anyone found this year or previous year a good setup so players aren't all superstars?

Once again I am mainly talking about the Kobe Era but I think any era besides modern eras setup would work.

Changing and making tweaks to the injury attributes. Since Shaq has a 98 durability rating across the board heading into his 12th year (2 years into the sim) is probably just to appease the big fella.

-5 ovr is just too much imo but I see the vision and I kinda like it.

So you saying raise injuries helps? I did raise injuries by 5 but maybe I do need to raise them more so players will get injured more and not all reach their potential.

As for -5 I think it brings them down to a reasonable level so that players play more realistic to their stats (if that makes sense) I do it across all sports games I play, Before I start a franchise. Like I have a system I do to all players 75+ overall so each are lowered evenly across the board.

Yeah I suppose it is much more easier to change the injury sliders from something like 50->55 rather than manually go and be a roster creator to do it one-by-one individually for each player lol

You do you, it did give that vintage early NBA 2K vibe when I edited the players to those lower ratings myself personally too.
