CPU Transactions

Anyone figured out how to get the CPU controlled teams to trade or make FA signings during the season. I never see any trades at all, and very few FA Signings. Thanks for any ideas on this!

Are you on an offline franchise where you are controlling the 32 teams? In that case, I saw that even if you let "toggle off" option for the coaches, there won't be transaction. Only teams fully controlled and managed by the CPU will sign and trade.

That's how I play my franchise (never control another team, just doing the "2 controllers thing" in a game in order to put a custom playbook on the team I play against). I see an average of one trade per week until the deadline. Nothing major, often a 70-75 rated player traded a 5th and a 6th round, sometimes with another player in the package. But no mega-trade (after 2 seasons). It would be fun to see, let's say one megadeal per year between 2 cpu teams, but I guess EA doesn't allow the CPU to make big gambles. Probably because CPU can't manage the consequences of a big trade turned to be a big fail.
