CPU vs CPU questions

First off, thank you to all of the slider-makers for the amazing work!

I had a few Qs for you CPU vs CPU players. I see that mostly you're slow-simulating to the end of games and just watching them play out.

I'm wondering if anyone's tried simming a play at a time, or by "change of possession" and making coach adjustments and depth chart changes in between? Do the coaching adjustments hold if changed or will the CPU override them? Do depth chart changes remain in place as well?

Looking for a little more control over games, not quite play-calling but influencing my CPU team toward making the calls/plan that I want to see it run...ground game early, open the passing game if trailing etc.

Thanks!

Nope just watch from opening kick off till the finish. Adjustments have never seemed to stick. Sometimes I'll change a QB or other player if they are struggling BAD. Usually a QB/RB for a fresh look. You can manually sub backups in and it sticks. That's the only other sub I'll make. As far as playcalling, its REALLY playbook dependent. Sometimes I'll see teams run plays evenly other times throw it 60 times and run it 10 times. It's hard to gauge right now. OFF Aggressiveness in the coach settings do not dictate run/pass ratios so I don't even know. It's just test every playbook that works best within your scheme and hope for the best.

I.e. Like Air Raid books, some throw it more and some have a balanced attack that gets 2 - 4 running backs involved depending on your auto subs and depth chart. San Jose is my fav for this reason.
