Does Passing Type matter in Coach Mode

Does anyone know if passing type (Classic, Placement, Placement & Accuracy, Revamped) makes a difference in COACH MODE?

How do you even get to coach mode? I want to just call plays in dynasty, is that what this is?

There is not actual play calling coach mode. Its more supersim on SLOW instead of fast or normal and you watch the game. CPU v CPU

If your talking about the coach mode setting in general settings being set to on, then calling a play and letting the CPU throw the ball for you, then no passing type don't matter. If you have it set to Revamped and you let the CPU throw the ball you won't see the meter on the screen.

I’ve seen the setting to let the CPU throw the ball for it, so can’t you just call the play, audible if needed, and press A to snap the ball and then let the CPU do as it may (maybe also player locking on some other play so that the QB can run options and RPOs correctly)?

I haven’t tried this in ‘25, but that’s how I played coach mode in ‘14 and it worked great.

Re: Does Passing Type matter in Coach Mode

Mental abilities matter in coach mode. By "passing type" I'm guessing you mean archetype. I don't think it matters unless mental abilities like road dog and headstrong are tied to certain archetypes.

I look for road dog or headstrong, throw power and to a lesser degree awareness.

You turn on coach mode in general settings. One tip - on third down the QB most of the time won't throw the ball unless there is an open receiver beyond the first down marker. You will take a lot of sacks if you don't compensate for that.

As he wrote in the OP, by passing type he means revamped vs placement and accuracy, vs classic.
