We’ve survived another offseason. College football is back!

Florida State vs. Georgia Tech from Ireland is on now. There are a handful of other games on later today.

Another example of why pre-season rankings are stupid. Any rational thinker knew FSU had to replace a lot of talent this year and so far it's looking like they didn't completely do just that. DJU honestly looks worse than expected right now. It is week 0 and those games are always sloppy, but he's been a disappointment, imo. And FSU clearly does not have the overall team speed they did last year.

It is 2024 and DC's still think sending 3 is the answer in desperate passing situations when you've had success all game bringing pressure or at least sending 4.

Edit: And now they overcorrect and bring a delayed safety blitz on that 4th down. GT what are you doing? Those are no-no's that HS coaches should know.

Yeah, the rushing three on the first fourth down especially made no sense.

Based off the eye test, I don't think this will look like as big an upset by the end of the year. FSU had too much to replace from last year's team and this looks like an 8 or 9 win team. GT will be a tough out for anyone they face this year due to the type of gamer King is. He's not the passer Dungey was for Syracuse years ago, but he's a better runner and the same type of gamer that will fire up a team and get them playing above their talent level.
