ExtremeSkins All-Madden 25 Sliders CPU v CPU or Coach Mode

Changes Updated: 8/27/23

- Pass Blocking changed from 57 to 56
- Tackling changed from 25 to 45
- Physics changed from 75 to 60
__________________________________________________ _______________________________

So I've experimented with alot of sliders and have used many different ones this year and even tried last year's. I've played so many games with so many different sliders, it got to the point where a set of sliders fixed one aspect of the game, but broke others. So I decided to try and tweak my own.

There are 3 things I spent ALOT of time on:
1. Penalties
2. QB completion %
3. Sacks and Tackles numbers for the defense

I've played probably 50 games with these and they give me GOOD stats. Aiming for QB completion %'s of 65-73% is very realistic to the NFL.

You also NEED to create custom playbooks for EVERY NFL team. This isn't negotiable. The regular out of the box playbooks break the game and it's a fact. Not every team but most. Cowboys, Colts, Browns, Commanders, Ravens and Chiefs playbooks are really the only ones that are good. The rest you need to edit.

These sliders are ONLY tested for FRANCHISE mode, not Play Now but will work for CPU v CPU or COACH MODE.

Main Menu sliders do NOT have any affect on the gameplay. You can either leave them at DEFAULT or set them to the ones below and then Import in your Franchise.

Physics: 60

League Settings
Skill level - All Madden
Game Style - Simulation
Kick Meter Style - Multi Meter
Quarter Length - 12 Minutes
Minimum Play Clock Time - 20 Seconds
Offensive PlayCall Cooldown - Off
Offensive PlayCall Limit - Off
Defensive PlayCall Cooldown - Off
Defensive PlayCall Limit - Off
Dynamic Momentum / Home Field Advantage - ON

Auto Progress Talents: Off
Tutuorial Popups: Off

Commissioner Settings:
Trade Deadline: ON
Trade Type: Enable All
Trade Difficulty: Normal
Salary Cap: ON
Free Agent Motivation Impact: HIGH (The motivations should mean something, Normal is too easy. High makes it so players value it way more.)
Practice Squad Stealing: ON
Relocation Settings: Everyone (If CPU teams want to relocate, who am I to say no????)
Staff Talent Cost Modifier:Normal

Practice Injury: ON
Pre Existing Injury: OFF
Progressive Fatigue: ON

Draft Presentation: FULL
Draft Timer: I turn mine OFF but it's your choice
Free Agent Negotiations on Stage 1: 5
Free Agent Negotiations on Stage 2: Unlimited
Free Agent Negotiations on Stage 3: Unlimited

League Type: ALL
Coach Firing: ON
Career Clock: ON

Dev Trait Management:
Breakout Scenarios: ON
Development Trait Regression: ON (I've heard mixed things on this but my view is, if a player is aging, he should lose some traits cause he's older and not a spring chicken anymore)
Desired X-Factor Dev Players: 50/75
Desired Superstar Dev Players: 75/100
Desired Star Dev Players: 400

Superstar Abilities: ON - Yes I turn this ON. I know alot of people don't, but if you have a shutdown corner, then he should be a SHUTDOWN corner. If you have a Brick Wall for a Nose Tackle then he should be just that. Leaving it so it's just the attributes makes it so players are too similar to everyone else. This is just my opnion.

Roster Protection:
Minimum Roster Size: 53
In-Season Player Movement Limit: Unlimited
Player OVR Cut Restrictions: NO restriction but I thought about making this 85 or 90 OVR but this may cause issues with CPU teams managing their own teams.
Offseason Player Cut Limit: Unlimited
Fill Roster: ON

Gameplay Sliders - These work for CPU v CPU or Coach Mode games. I've tested both, but I mainly play CPU v CPU.

Player Skill:
QB Accuracy - 25
Pass Blocking - 56
WR Catching - 47
Run Blocking - 60
Ball Security - 37
Pass Def Reaction - 55
Interceptions - 25
Pass Coverage - 50
Tackling - 45

CPU Skill:
QB Accuracy - 25
Pass Blocking - 56
WR Catching - 47
Run Blocking - 60
Ball Security - 37
Pass Def Reaction - 55
Interceptions - 25
Pass Coverage - 50
Tackling - 45

Special Teams:
FG Power - 48
FG Accuracy - 35
Punt Power - 60
Punt Accuracy - 55
Kickoff Power - 58

Game Options:
Injuries - 16
Fatigue - 55
Min Player Speed Threshold - 100

Penalties:
Offside - 75
False start - 75
Holding - 55
Face Mask - 99
Def Pass Interference - 25
Illegal Block in the Back - 51
Roughing the Passer - 50

All other Penalties set to ON , except Roughing Kicker. Just turn it OFF. It's like Roughing the Passer, it's too sensitive and just causes unneccessary issues.

I average 5-6 penalties per side with these. Some games are lower, some slightly higher. The average amount of penalties in a real NFL game is 11.8 so it gets close to that.

With these sliders, not every game is absolutely perfect, and you NEED to create custom playbooks for almost every team because otherwise they do not run enough. Only about 5 teams have a decent enough playbook out of the box that run enough, the rest just don't.

Try them and let me know what kind of games you're getting.

Re: ExtremeSkins All-Madden 25 Sliders CPU v CPU or Coach Mode

Has anyone else been having an issue with the QB taking a sack every time a screen is called? Doesn't matter the player or playbook, they will always just take a sack with the HB wide open. Sometimes even 2-3 plays in a row. i have tried turning off intentional grounding and changing the QB trait to throw ball away but still nothing.

For reference I am playing CPU vs CPU All-Pro. All all siders default except QB Acc. (0) and Int (16). This was happening before QB acc. was changed.

Any input is appreciated!

Edit: I have tried these sliders and am still having the same issue. Sliders play great outside of this!

You need to turn off coach mode for screens to work. It’s a strange bug, but it honestly works.

Re: ExtremeSkins All-Madden 25 Sliders CPU v CPU or Coach Mode

I edit the playbooks and remove the play HB Slip Screen cause it's a 75% failed play every time, even in CPU v CPU mode and will take sacks. Not every time, but alot.

The running game even with custom playbooks isn't perfect. I played with the Dolphins against the Bills and I got obliterated 45-28, and while the QB completion %'s were 70% for Josh Allen and 68% for Tua Tagovailoa, the running game wasn't great for me because my CPU QB was playing catch up the entire game.

Buffalo had 25 carries, and my Dolphins only had 15 but I guess it makes sense when they were up 21-0 at the half.

Will be giving these a test - ONE THING is that your post is actually readable and you don't act pompous and full of yourself like some here do TY

Great point. One guy will just jump you if you disagree at all with his findings. He never finishes his sliders until close to a year later and blames EA for sneaking in gameplay changes overnight that change things. He has no concept of randomness and dice rolls. He is a joke to most people here.

Will be following this set closely and am also glad you are willing to listen to other opinions

I appreciate you saying that. Thank you for trying out the sliders. Made a few changes. See if there are major differences. The biggest one is the Def Pass Interference Penalty from 99 to 25, and the Speed Threshold from 45 to 100.

I want to see if the game plays better especially with that speed threshold change.
