I've created multiple schools in CFB25 so far with very few complaints, which makes my issues with Madden even more frustrating.
- Why are we limited to 5 uploaded PNG files when CFB25 has 10? This almost makes it impossible to build a "complete," original uniform design.
- The amount of design options available are greater on CFB, which makes sense for the additional brands (UA & Adidas), but even the Nike brand options aren't available in Madden.
- The quality of the TB site seems greatly reduced; team name bugs, preview issues, resolution quality, a TON of custom logo problems (i.e. scaling, color, etc.)...
- I love the addition of the US flag and mfg warning on each default helmet; BUT what happens if they are accidentally removed? Why do they need to use a custom layer spot instead of being their own "Accessory" option? They couldn't add the NFL logo to the jersey collar or pants?
- Why can't they add the NFL logo to the default logos available to avoid us having to upload a PNG and waste 1 of the 5 slots? Add the US flag and Warning while they're at it.
- No "Non-US" options in Madden TB but they have it in CFB; BUT you can relocate teams outside the US?
- Not allowing real team names for us to create classic, all-time and/or rebrands of real teams is a huge failure. We're actually trying to do their jobs for them by bringing back features they removed 20 years ago.
- We should have the same option as CFB to play in a current [NFL] stadium (see #7) for team rebrands, not relocations.
- Team Builder rosters are all screwed up (Balanced has 2 QBs, Pass Heavy has 9 WRs & 6 TEs, etc.) because they used CFB rosters. There is no position filter for K or P; the only way to edit them is to scroll through "All."
- I'm sure there is much more I'm either forgetting or haven't yet discovered...
I love creation features in all games so this was truly the only reason for me to buy M25. I usually skip a few years of buying Madden because I can typically wait until its on EA Play in January.
Hopefully a patch can fix some of this but I highly doubt any effort goes into anything that's not gameplay or MUT, this year.
