Official 1990 NFL Roster On Ps5 Madden 25

Hi, Oser's

So this year I really am enjoying madden 25, with the ability to create uniforms and stadiums and implement them in place of current teams, within a franchise I plan to create 1990 NFL Roster for Single Season Replay.

The expansion teams back then will be bottomed out as they weren't any real teams and I'm not gonna waste time doing cfls. So Ravens, Jags, Panthers, Texans, will not be a factor.

The way I'm looking at this, no the game is not perfect, but the gameplay is better imo then any older version of Madden, and after playing this, personally I can't go back, even to my loved madden 20.

At the end of the day for me, it's a video game, it's not real life, so I hope my roster will bring some enjoyment to some.

Once I get the roster done, I will download certain creations and give proper credit to those who created the stadium and uniforms, and the downloaded name for you to set up in your franchise.

The sources I'll be using comes from the actual old madden and 2k games on emulators where it will make it alot easier to copy names and numbers with some attributes, with the values that don't align I'll cross that bridge as it comes.

But this will be my madden for classic and current. So that's it, I'll post progress once I feel I have enough satisfactory work done.

Re: Official 1990 NFL Roster

Great idea and I’m doing pretty same kinda concept. I norm’s do real life current year but I decided this year I really wanna go back to a time me and my brother played either tecmo Super Bowl era or the year before he passed away which was 1999.

What Madden 25 has could make it very possible to relive one of these seasons.

Anyways was wondering if we could talk here and others chime in who might know more on how does team builder actually work as far as if I download someone’s creation team and stadium how do we edit rosters? I prefer somehow editing these in min menu area so we can create any missing players and choose those correct years pro or handedness etc.

I would like to DL thes old skool stuff already made but put my own players on that roster but I think we can only edit in franchise. I went to team builder site but don’t see how to DL a creation and with the players myself there would be so much faster.

Update: aaaahhh I get how it can work I do the roster load into cfm when I ask to keep team roster choose yes.

But anyway to edit rosters on team builder site
?

First sorry about your loss, that's never easy.

Yep bro as far how to do it, you got it exactly, unfortunately going through to edit the roster through team builder it self, is not possible.

I did a test update earlier, with Buffalo and Redskins that were made, and I was able to select the team, even had the choice of using the default roster or a custom one, but that was as far as it went.

One thing I'm struggling with already out the gate is ratings, I have always struggled with rating a player which is what always held me back on creating rosters, and free handing it, always seemed to be to high or to low.

I wish there was some kind of way to rate a player accurately, as it is I'm using 2k5 that had rated accurat classic rosters already done, I really was doing more so of a copy n paste to share with the community.

Some ratings are there, and some are not, so I'm trying to figure out something to where I can get these players rated accurately. I don't mind doing the work I just need help or suggestions on what I could do about these ratings.

I even did the equipment which is really fun, looking up on Google how and what players gear they had on.

That 1999 sounds awesome to Houston I'd definitely love to play that and support in anyway I can to help.

I just tested redskins the logos are ether to big or to small but that can be looked at later on. I wouldn’t worry about ratings but more about renaming everyone equipment and player info ratings last those first 3 gonna take awhile.

Ratings - do u have a ps4 or extra ps5 or a friend who wouldn’t mind reading stuff off to you via headset etc? If u have either what I’d do is ask teacher if it’s okay to use his 1990 rosters if u have it get the equipment and ratings from that file if have it.

Myself and looking to do it the way it was back then obviously new ratings and things have been added to Madden since the older maddens.

My main concern is I’m a sticker for correct player info the more accuracy the better.

So renaming everyone and setting correct positions would be first.

2. Can either be equipment or ratings but if it was me do ratings last those are easier than the first 2.

Yeah I'm the same when it comes to accuracy to detail, that's what I enjoyed about teach, mjwizards, yours and others that has done work all around this forum.

Teach has given me permission in this past to use and share anything I used from his past work, same as Soundwave and others even from the nba and mlb section of OS.

What I'm thinking I'll do is record on my cellphone since I only own a ps5, no other consoles and bring Everything from madden 20

Obviously credit goes to who I use but that's the only option I see if we want classic rosters this year.

Personally for me this is the game I would like to turn into my classic edition football of what Madden 20 was to me, filled with alot of memories and straight fire.

Yeah as I type this, that's the move.
