Passing Type - Revamped (User Preference)

FG Accuracy - 35

Injuries - 35

Speed Threshold - 45



Penalties

Everything else 50 or On

Now I was wondering, would going from simulation to competitive change things? I’ve got time so maybe I can figure that out. Game is not so broken for me to just say bye bye.


Test without playing the Colts (Playbooks are off, but Colts aren’t)

Love the running numbers

My theory is that the game is tuned for competitive mode and then tweaked to make it “simulation”. Whatever they tweaked, for me atleast, messed with the pass coverage. Every single out was a guaranteed catch before when playing on SIM, even with pass coverage sliders maxed out. Defender was always 2-3 steps behind.

this sounds interesting and look forward to trying these out tonight. how's the pass rush? I'm seeing nothing so far (3 sacks in first 4 games of franchise and all 3 came in one game lol). I toggled the player traits on all my d-line (all traits are off for everyone on the monday build of roster) and lowered CPU pass blocking and it still didn't help on my end.

Nope it doesn't help to fix the CPU playcalling. Only fix is to give every Team the Colt's playbook ? :-)

Playing defense against CPU is slightly better, but most of the time CPU QB is unstoppable...

Also wondering is the Facemask slider broken ? Even on 99 i see no difference.

I don’t have this problem at all. Yes it happens some games but definitely not every game. Just played a test game where TB ran the ball 15 times in the first half. Threw it 12.

Also definitely not seeing unstoppable QB’s with these sliders, though I absolutely was when playing on default. As you saw, last game Richardson went 11/19. The test game I was just doing against TB, Mayfield was 7/12 for about 100 yards in the first half.

Playing on 12 min quarters with 15 on the accelerated clock
Pre Season Rosters in Franchise mode

CPU is really struggling to run the ball as of late on me. I’m testing run block at 60 for them. Everything else feels really solid to me, no glaring issues. I’ll start messing with penalties soon but if they start causing ill effects towards gameplay, then I will stay on default. I can live with no penalties in exchange for tremendous, engaging, unpredictable game play.
