Post patch positives

After I grabbed the new update this morning I saw things happen that never have
- I returned a kickoff for a TD
- Saw more penalties including a Pass Interference call against CPU. First one in 10 games
-Kicking is better now to

Overall the game just played better. Anyone else see anything new ?

Just for context, what level were you playing on, and what slider adjustments were you using, if any?

FWIW, I’ve returned multiple kickoffs for TDs and had them returned against me prepatch.

Prepatch With edited sliders I’ve gotten plenty of penalties too, including the occasional DPI.

I’ve returned a kickoff for a TD and have seen a few PI’s called against the CPU prior to any patch. Kicking has also been as expected without any glitches for me. I was still on 1.006 as of last night so idk if a new patch has dropped. Playing on Heisman since the beginning.

Re: Post patch positives

I'm still in the middle of my first game post patch. I'm about to start the second half, but I was so satisfied with how the game felt that I wanted to come here mid-game to see if others are experiencing the same.

Florida (CPU) vs Florida State (Me)
Difficulty: All-American
Quarter Length: 15 minutes (with Accelerated Clock)
Score at Half-Time: Florida - 7, Florida State - 10
Sliders: Everything at Default

- Running the ball is tougher, which I like, because I felt running the ball was too easy before.

- Pass blocking is much better, at least with the better teams. Before, whether I played with ODU or any elite P4 school, I saw no difference in pass blocking, even when making pass blocking adjustments pre-snap.

- Human QB accuracy seems to be tuned. Even at default, I have passes that are off target, which I like.

I'm going to go ahead and finish up this game, but my initial impressions are positive. I'm much more engaged now than I was just yesterday, where I would quit mid-game in disgust due to broken gameplay mechanics. Those annoying mechanics, so far, seem to be rectified with this patch.

I'm positive the patch is a step in the right direction but I'm also positive EA still has a LOT of work to do.

First release of this franchise, I think we knew this was coming. My fear is still they are going to patch the gameplay right out of the game as they have in the past, if you know what I mean.

Re: Post patch positives

Happy I can make pass protection adjustments and keep my RB route that was a big fix.
