How to find out scheme needs?

In Madden you cam see a list of what player types each scheme needs.

How can I find that in CFB 25?

My Team info. It breaks your roster down to what you need. It actually works now. It wasn't up****** before the patch.

Is that just position needs, or scheme needs? I.e. does it just say you need 4 OTs, or does it say you need pass protecting OTs for your scheme rather than power OTs?

That just shows the numbers needed. I guess a lot of it is intuitive, but I'm not as familiar with some of the more exotic defenses and offenses.

Like if I'm doing a triple option I would assume a power back, Utility FB, Blocking TE's and a scrambling QB with physical WR's.

It isn't a thing in college. You can recruit whatever you want since the schemes are so diverse that the tags really are kind of meaningless. The closest thing is play style which adjusts to your team vs the other way around

Take a look at the abilities each archetype can have as well as you're trying to figure this out.

For example, only Power and Agile offensive linemen have access to the Option Shield ability, which improves double-team blocks on option plays based on a check of the PBF rating. Pass Blocker offensive linemen have no access to the ability whatsoever. If the bread and butter of your offense is the triple option, you probably should favor recruiting Agile linemen because they have access to Option Shield and tend to have higher PBF than Power linemen.

Where can we see which archetypes can get which abilities?

Player card, Physicals tab.

Or go to CollegeFootball.gg and look at their abilities list.
