AI catching everything on Heisman

“Git gud” “turn down the difficulty” yadayadayada. I was told the AI gets no boosts on Heisman which clearly isn’t the case. I can lay a hit stick on the AI immediately and 99% of the time he catches it where as if it happens to me I dropped it 99%. All I’m asking for is a fair game. I love the game, it’s fun but stuff like this is just annoying. I also hate how it seems my AI teammates lose awareness although I have nothing to back that up.

You beat me to it! Game had me HEATED yesterday. I’m talking, my WRs dropped near EVERY SINGLE pass (I’m not embellishing to juice the story either lol), the slightest touch and the ball pops out, while it happened all of ONE time to the CPU. They’ll hold on to everything.

So I said, you know what, I gotta trick for y’all cheating a@@es. Bumped my WR catch up to 60 and dropped the CPUs to 45, but guess what, exact same outcome. I’m like, you gotta be kiddin me!

I ain’t done with the magic �� tricks however. Outside of this issue, I think I’ve found the perfect set of sliders for Heisman. As far as catching sliders, I’m about to nerf the CPU down to hell. Increments of five they say? Yea right, I’m about to go sub atomic on their a@@, I’m hitting em with a 20 point decrease tomorrow, and bumpin mine up 20. Maybe more than that, 10 for you, 100 for me. They’re getting their due issue tomorrow, F that!

I’m surprised no one else has mentioned this, we can’t be the only ones.

We’re about to find out if these sliders really work because I’m about to go drastic with it.

Sliders do work but I had to go really drastic. I set CPU to 33 and Human to 66. I'm satisfied with the results tho its on All-American not Heisman.

I've all but reached my breaking point with Heisman difficulty. I have tried various settings and yea I tried them for multiple games, but the end result has been the same....if the CPU needs either a score or that pivotal 3rd down conversion, they are going to get it.

I currently have CPU WR catch at 20, and do you think my Buckeye defense (which is rated at 96) can knock the ball loose on a big hit to the WR...but let the CPU defense hit my receiver and watch him drop it...lol

I just now quit a game out of sheer frustration, and which also leads me to getting tired of going down to the pit of slider hell.

The game I just quit out of saw the Buckeyes pretty much dominate the 1st Q and midway through the 2nd...then it happened...lmao

I had to punt and ended up pinning them at about their 13 yard line...then what happened next literally blew my mind...

If anybody here is old enough, and happens to remember "The Drive" from 1987, where John Elway drove the Bronco's down the field for the tying TD..this is exactly what happened to me.

No matter the defense I called, run commit, pass commit..man, zone nothing worked...also pinching my dline didn't matter, because their oline played like NFL seasoned pro's parting my dline like the Red Sea.

The last thing, please don't get me started on the CPU play during the last 2 minutes of the half, or the final 2 minutes of the game...because much of what I experienced in Madden over the years on All Madden, still remains here.

I play so good in the first quarter and well enough in the fourth but the middle two quarters are so bad, it feels like the cpu is just taking their foot off the gas in the 4th quarter. I just need to get over the hump in the middle.

Like in Madden there are games, that you can't win, and I'm not talking about playing @Georgia as a MAC-Team. It's about facing (nearly) same or even weaker OVR teams.

It's been in EA football games for a while now and probably a reaction to people stating, that they "can't lose a single game". In the late PS3 era you also had these kind of games, that were really tough to win. But you had a chance, when you played it perfectly for 60 min straight.

Catching issues are not the only way they do it. It's lines, tackling, flags. It's defenses who know exactly what you're going to do on almost every play. It's receivers, who are supposed to run picks routes, but instead go vertical.

In CFB25 there are games, where you can't complete a single HB screen pass, because he gets stuck in a group of defenders who encircle him right away after the snap on every try. Likewise AI defenders will sniff out WR screens on every try in other games.


I'm not whining about losing. I'm complaining about the all to obvious and cheap methods, how EA makes sure, you can't win every single game.

I’m currently playing Akron and have quit the game every time because of the obvious catching issue. I think I’ve started over about 10 times at this point
lol, and don’t get me wrong, I don’t care about losing (I’m 1-3), but it’s not going to be from blatant cheating (and that’s exactly what’s happening right now)

Ok, you sons of b@@chs lol, y'all want to play hard ball? Very well then, CPU QB acc is going down to 15 for their transgressions, CPU WR catch is getting tanked to 30. I have a few minutes before work, lets get a general feel for it now. I'll report back.
