Which dev trait is the best?

Sorry if it's already been addressed, but can anyone tell me whether star or impact is the better dev trait? I looked at my roster and can't figure out which one is the better option. Thanks.

Re: Which dev trait is the best?

Elite > Star > Impact > Normal from best to worst

From the dynasty deep dive:
  • Normal: These players are most common, and progress at a standard rate. Expect them to steadily grow over their career.
  • Impact: The type of player that can really change a team. They値l progress faster than normal, with higher upside.
  • Star: A potential Sunday player. There are very few of these to go around and they値l establish themselves early as fast learners.
  • Elite: The best of the best. These players will make a statement the moment they get on campus and have the potential to be an all-time great.

Are these traits locked or can they be upgraded at some point like in madden?

They're not locked per se, but you can unlock the mind reader ability under the Strategist coach abilities in order to see it early while recruiting. Hope that helps.

I haven稚 played Madden, but it sounds to me like you can upgrade them there. To me it sounds like you could have an impact player and upgrade him into a star player, or make a normal an impact, etc.

If so, then I知 pretty sure they can稚 be upgraded in CFB and a star player will always be a star.
