Difference Head Coach vs O/D. Coordinators

I tried looking into the internet but found nothing. There are any In game differences? I tried to play a game and it looks exactly the same. being able to call plays on Defense being a O. Coordinator. Recruitment,etc. Didn't see any differences.

Is only the character you develop or there are actual differences I'm not seeing for not playing long enough.

If I recall the only difference is you can't hire a HC or Coordinator yourself.

For in game, you could do Play only Offense or Defense, to make it a little more realistic.

For recruiting, I set it to automatic, so CPU would handle the other side of the ball. I'd manage my side, but if you go this route be mindful that CPU WILL occasionally remove a player you wanted to scout.

I was playing as Air Force and had a shot at a 4 star, but I think since he wasn't a "recommended" athlete CPU removed him. I had to turn it off after that.

Hiring and firing is the only difference I saw. I was OC for a season and had the option to play the entire game…calling plays and all that.
