What is the significance of the blue dots

I'm assuming it's some sort of status but when I'm playing defense I see blue dots sometimes 3 sometimes 4 and a checkmark. What does that mean. Also under offensive lineman I'll once in awhile see a small curved red bar. There are so many symbols in the game I don't have time to process them all.

If we're thinking of the same thing, the Blue Dots under a defender represent the # of pass rush moves they can do, and the Red Dots underneath an OL represent their resistance to a move towards either side from that specific defender.

When you're controlling a rusher, using a move costs one of those points, which IIRC rebuild over time. However if you keep doing moves to the same side of the lineman, the resistance will build and make it harder to get the shed or instashed animations. You'll want to sub out our flip your defensive linemen to spread out this effect.
