EA Sports College Football 25 - How is your Road to Glory Going?

Started a new one as I typically put my player on a team where he can start immediately. Decided to put 3-star QB Jacinto Kirby on JMU. He came in as the 3rd string kid and by week 3 he’d gotten a position battle and won the backup job. In the next game, the starter got injured and I got to play for most of the first half. Went 11/18 for 95 yards a TD before heading back to the bench for the remainder of the game.

I must say, I do think I quite like not being the day 1 starter all the time!

How’s your Road to Glory going?

I went from a 67 OVR to and 80 OVR and at 4-5 in Week 12 I got the position battle against the 83 OVR Sr (RS). Interesting….

In the season finale we hosted SBC rival Marshall, who was 9-2 (6-1). It was my 3rd start. We came away with a 20-13 win and finished the regular season 5-7 (3-5). I even won PotG honors!

Weird thing happened.

I am an elite QB at Michigan, just hit 80 doing my very first upgrade as you have a few when you start. I played game one, and got some upgrade points, and then at the end of game 2 I leveled up so much, I had 160+ points to upgrade my player. Got him to a 91ovr just like that, 2 games in.

So bizzare

I was just on Reddit and saw stories of that as well. A lot of folks attributed it to playing 15 min qtrs. I’m not sure but what’s your qtr length? I play 8 min qtrs, 16 sec run off personally.

I was wondering why I was a 98 overall by midseason. Started with 10 min acc. quarters, then dropped to 8. I didn't want to complain though, those DBs eat me alive sometimes.
