Illinois is not a Pipeline?

I am creating my head coach and his backstory/pipeline is centered around Illinois and it isn’t one of the choices.

Am I missing something here?

Don't have the game but the dynasty blog said they aren't states anymore and are parts of states or combinations of states without real pipelines

Yeah I just created mine and noticed that too. Granted, Illinois is not known to be a hot bead of football talent. I simply chose Iowa and moved on.

You’d think “Midwest” would have been an option or something. Why do we need separate ones for Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin?

Not in front of me but I think Indiana/Illinois is a pipeline. Don't quote me on this as I am not home and went through a lot of menus yesterday. I also feel this specific example was mentioned in the dynasty deep dive. Check there as well.

There are still state pipelines. There are just now regions as well.

It's been reported as a possible glitch as you can get recruits from Illinois pipline.

In my game Ian White is the Illinois HC and his pipeline is listed as: Illinois.

It’s a UI glitch right now, current coaches can have this but you cannot select Illinois at the moment.
