Not to be a negative Nancy, but I have some fairly major concerns I would like to share with you.

1. Perhaps the biggest issue I foresee, is that they somehow had the stupid Madden playbook system in this game. What is the issue with that? Well, in a 350 play playbook, perhaps only 60 will have a star rating. This means that there are 290 plays that the CPU will never, ever call. a playbook will have 15 plays rated for use on 1st downs, which means you'll only ever see those. If you know what they are, you'll know what play is coming. Which is ***. We don't have the ability to assign custom playbooks to a CPU team in the pre game menu (although I can assign them a different, generic book there with a second controller for some reason. Just custom ones won't stick) Please stop hiring the guy who half arses the playbooks...or let me assign a custom book.

2. I'd like to see a bit more lead capability on the Revamped Passing

3. I wouldn't hate teambuilder being available for offline use.

4. In offline dynasties, just give me back the controller select option. I would happily just enjoy the sandbox of swapping sides throughout the game (it helps me to also do sneaky playbook assignments as per gripe number 1)

5. I don't know how to tell the Mrs that I love this game more than I do her.

There is an option in settings for this. I think there are 3 different options for how much impact the left stick has on leading passes.

Is this confirmed? I don't play a ton vs AI but this would suck for dynasty mode

My gripe....is the fundamental problem is the crux of why so many FOOTBALL games fail. It never gets addressed and is the reason why users hate the game without knowing why.

If you're playing one game, its an ARCADE MODE. Online play / head-to-head...you're just selecting plays to players.

If you're attempting a Dynasty / Franchise of a football program, its not just playing that one game multiple times a season (we should have advanced far beyond super tecmo bowl by now).
If you're a "football sim" game, then you need to simulate the dynamic of building a winning team through development and execution. If I am the HC of Navy and we run triple option, in my "dynasty mode" I should not be able to go 5-wide during a game and expect to effectively convert downs with vertical passing. There should be a consequence to diverting to the plan the head coach set. If you're playing defense against Iowa, you'd better have your team prepared to stop outside zone or you'll be in for a long night. This game has never captured that feel.
NFL COACH 2006 was premised on this. The more you ran a certain formation/play the better your team got at EXECUTING it. Was your team prepared for this week's opponent? Did they specifically train to stop bread and butter plays of the opponent? Has your unit developed the chemistry / awareness to know whats coming on a given down and distance in a specific time of the game? This kind of control is what coaching is about and it provides thousands of different outcomes to make playability go one forever.

There should be more emphasis placed on how your players progress in your PROGRAM, namely the off-season Strength & Conditioning program and how its managed to give you bigger, stronger, athletes from season to season. If I recruit a 6'0" 160 lbs athlete, by the time he graduates, he should be 6'3" , 220 lbs if he had stud parents/growth potential (why I recruited him).

Because none of this is factored into making a real football game, we just get reskinned versions of the NFL game, which is plug & play athletes, run those same gimmick plays you always run and win. Every season looks like the last. We're just button pushing with no variance in the outcomes

And I tested this feature, the "large" lead is pretty drastic.

I do not like how it's implemented though. I want a little left stick to lead only a little, but that's not how it works. Whether you move your stick a little or max, the lead is THE SAME. maybe this is a bug and will be fixed, but I tested it for quite a while and that's all I saw.
