Dynasty Quarter Length?

I know it’s early, but the clock work and moments play is similar to Madden so I was wondering what people were playing on to get most realistic stats?

Is there a big difference in what you use if you’re going to play a whole game vs just play key moments?

I have a similar Q. I was thinking 6 or 7 minutes depending on how easy it is to rip off chunk plays.

I was rocking full 15-min quarters and it's probably a bit too much. I was only playing offense. I can't throw the ball so my RB for Old Dominion was going for at least 150 a game--against Pitt, Va Tech and South Carolina. Each score was like 56-24. Was using accelerated clock, too.

Re: Dynasty Quarter Length?

Played my first game at 8 minutes accelerated clock was not nearly enough plays. Played 10 minutes the next and still don’t think it’s right going to try 12. This game is fun I’m playing as Sam Houston on All American and I suck. I am old Bill Walsh was released on Sega summer before my sophomore year of college, I’ve had every game since.

Re: Dynasty Quarter Length?

I did 6 and thought it worked out ok. Might move to 7.

Did not use accelerated clock

I played 10 minutes without the accelerated clock and I ran too many plays. My starting RB had 21 carries for 159 yards at halftime.

Re: Dynasty Quarter Length?

Right now, 12-minutes with accelerated clock to 12-seconds.

Re: Dynasty Quarter Length?

I tried five minute quarters playing “offense only” and had four touchdowns in the last three minutes of the fourth. I then switched to playing eight minute quarters with accelerated clock and playing both sides of the ball. I had more realistic stats with the eight minute settings than the five minute mode.
